Read-A-Thon to collect money for Japan earthquake disaster

Let’s Spring into Reading & Collect Money to Help Japan!

The Cloverly Elementary School’s SGA is sponsoring a Read-A-Thon to help the victims in Japan who were affected by the latest natural disasters.  Students were given forms on Wednesday, 3/30.

READ-A-THON PLAN!

  • Wednesday, March 30th – Sunday, April 3rd: Set your reading goal, find sponsors and complete the form on the back.   If your student prefers not to solicit pledges, please make a donation.  Cash or checks are acceptable.  Checks should be made out to “The American Red Cross”.
  • Monday, April 4th – Friday, April 8th: Participate in the Read-A-Thon by recording the number of minutes you read each day
  • Saturday, April 9th – Monday, April 11th: Collect any remaining pledges
  • Tuesday, April 12th: Turn in your pledge form & the money you collected to your teacher

 

Cloverly’s Annual Family Dance is Friday March 25, 7-9PM

Includes a fabulous D.J., games, dancing, free gift, souvenir picture and snacks!
*ALL STUDENTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT THROUGHOUT THE EVENT.*
To purchase tickets, print and complete this flyer and return the bottom portion to your child’s teacher. Tickets are required for everyone.
