Cubs Care Club Cookbook

As mentioned in the October Cubs Care Club newsletter, we are creating a club cookbook which we hope to complete in time for holiday sale. Our profits will go to Heifer International, which provides gifts of animals and training to help families in developing countries move toward self-reliance. We would like each club member to submit a favorite recipe to include in the cookbook. The categories are: snacks, main courses, breakfast food, desserts, sides/salads, pet treats. PLEASE be sure that the recipe is a family/original recipe and not copied exactly from a published cookbook (i.e. “Aunt Betty’s Apple Pie” is fine, “Southern Living’s Lava Cake” is not). If possible, we prefer that you submit your recipe by email to Jennifer Hallmark at hallmark5@comcast.net. If you need to submit a hard copy, please send it to school in an envelope marked Cubs Care Club. We will have the members at the first meeting work on illustrations for the book. We will assemble volunteers from the entire club to sell the finished cookbook at Cloverly/PTA events throughout the year. Thank you for your help with this project!

If you have any questions about the club, feel free to contact Annamarie DeBonis(robnana@comcast.net), Angela Edwards (are1000@verizon.net), or Jennifer Hallmark (hallmark5@comcast.net).
